Jenny
Donovan brings a unique balance of professional experience, academic
accomplishments and community service to Stepstone Productions. She
has been a freelance writer and public relations/marketing consultant
for more than a decade. Her work with not-for-profit organizations
began nearly 25 years ago.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Communications, Jenny
returned to school and completed most of her graduate work while studying
in The Netherlands, Austria and South Africa. She has interviewed
government leaders, media professionals and academics, and did her
Master's thesis research in those countries and in the United Kingdom,
the Republic of Ireland and the United States. In 1997, she earned
a Master of Arts in Media Communications with a Media Literacy emphasis
from Webster University. As an adjunct faculty member at Webster,
she taught a study abroad course on media, culture and politics in
South Africa.
Jenny's role at Stepstone includes writing and producing marketing
videos and documentaries. Helping you create stories of hope about
your organization is much more than a job. It is a privilege to help
organizations communicate their inspiring messages in a professional
and effective way. Marketing plans, Board development and volunteer
recruitment strategies, public relations strategies, and video packaging
are also available because of Jenny's experience and knowledge of
the not-for-profit community.
The Donovans moved to St. Louis from their home in Cincinnati, Ohio,
in 1973. While raising a family here, Jenny and her husband, Tom,
have contributed countless hours of volunteer service to charities
and social causes in our community. Together, and individually, they
have provided leadership and helped raise millions of dollars for
local organizations. |
