Declan comes to Stepstone from the world of social services.

Since arrival in the U.S. seven years ago he has worked in the field of vocational rehabilitation. In Ireland, Declan was a very successful business entrepreneur but on arrival in America he decided to spend the rest of his life helping people less fortunate. He still uses all his business and entrepreneurial skills. Declan worked for the largest vocational rehabilitation agency in the State of Missouri. There he managed their City of St. Louis Youth Ambassadors Program. He is considered to be an expert in the field of Supported Employment, a field which assists the most severely challenged people find and maintain employment. He is married to Philomena and they have three sons and four grandsons.

Declan is the Director of the Stepstone Institute. He is also a published composer with three albums to his credit.
